Does the internship agreement allow me to do an internship in any field?
An internship should be an opportunity to practically apply the theoretical knowledge you have acquired during your studies. We recommend choosing your internship sector based on your field of study. While business school programs tend to be quite general and can lead to internships in most sectors, we encourage you to contact us directly if you have any questions.
-
Can I extend the duration of the internship once the agreement is signed?
Extending an internship depends on an agreement between the host company, the educational institution, and the student. If an extension is being considered, it is important to communicate with all parties involved to discuss it and potentially amend the internship agreement. Note that the internship cannot exceed six months.
-
Is the internship paid according to the agreement?
Internship compensation depends on the host company's policies and the country's laws regarding internships. The internship agreement should specify whether the internship is paid and, if so, details the amount of compensation and payment terms. In France, internships lasting more than two months are mandatory and must be paid.
-
Can I be hired at the end of the internship?
The possibility of being hired at the end of the internship depends on the host company and its staffing needs. Some internships can be considered a stepping stone to employment, while others may be more geared towards gaining professional experience. Don't hesitate to express your interest in a potential job at the end of the internship, but keep in mind that this will depend on available opportunities.
-
How can I terminate an internship agreement before its expiry date?
If necessary, the early termination of an internship agreement must be discussed and negotiated between the student, the host company, and the educational institution. In some cases, a notice period may be required. It is important to adhere to the terms and conditions specified in the agreement regarding early termination.
